James O. Born
Just a quick post to point out that a major dictionary has finally come to it's senses (If a dictionary has any senses) and quoted one of my books on the proper use of a particular noun. Please contain your excitement. I have.
The entry is here :Merriam-Webster although you might need a subscription.
Will still post on Thursday about the K-9 groups that helped me with Scent of Murder.
A cop, a Brit, a deb, a B-school grad, a guy with good hair, and a wisecracking lawyer wrestle with the naked truth about literature and life.

That is cool and meaningless at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWho did you have to sleep with? Merriam? Webster? Both?
ReplyDeleteso far this hasn't had the effect on my daily life that I hoped it would.

Dear Mr. Born:
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this entry is exciting for you and you must be pleased. With my congratulations comes a snotty punctuation/spelling thingy. The dictionary needs to come to "its" senses.
Sincerely,
Gail Gavert
You are correct, Gail. I have no excuse.
